On March 23-25, 2023, Hampton City Schools Flex Program gathered educators from across Virginia for the Future of Learning Summit to exchange ideas on best practices to increase student engagement and learning.
Suzanne Sprague, executive director of Virtual Science Teachers, had the honor of leading a conversation with several teachers on how online resources, such as the ones featured on the Virtual Science Teachers website, can be used to engage students, differentiate, save precious time, and truly grow student understanding. Teachers played online bingo with an 80s and 90s theme, discussed the use of stories to increase engagement, shared escape room ideas, and exchanged many other ideas about how to make the most of the increase use of technology in education.
