Virtual Science Teachers was founded by Suzanne Sprague, a veteran science educator, after seeing firsthand how much teacher time is spent searching for, adapting, and creating high-quality science resources.
VST began with a simple idea. Modern technology could make difficult science concepts more visual, interactive, and accessible while also making strong instructional resources easier for teachers to use.
Since then, VST has grown into a collection of interactive learning experiences, simulations, graphing and data-analysis tools, Bell Ringers, Mini-Challenges, virtual labs, and other science resources used by thousands of students.
Teachers remain part of the development process. Classroom educators and VST's Academic Review Board help identify needs, review resources, test activities, and guide revisions.
