All resources available on the Virtual Science Teachers website are free to access.

No payment is required to access educational content.
Educators are responsible for previewing and determining the appropriateness of materials before assigning them to students.

Reproduce, distribute, sell, or license VST resources for commercial purposes.
Modify, rebrand, or present VST materials as your own.
Use VST content as part of paid courses, subscription services, or commercial training programs without written permission.

Ownership of all VST-created content remains with Virtual Science Teachers.
6. Third-Party Content and Embedded Services
Some pages on the VST website include embedded or linked third-party content to support instruction and data literacy. Examples may include:
Interactive graphs or datasets from Our World in Data
Presentations or visuals created using Canva
Interactive content from platforms such as PhET or Genially
How VST Uses Embedded Content
Embedded content is used solely for educational purposes.
Where possible, VST uses education-focused plans and privacy-protective settings.
We select embed options intended to limit personalization, advertising, and identifiable data collection.
Embedded presentations and simulations are configured for view-only or instructional use and do not require user accounts.
Important Limitations
VST does not control the internal data practices of third-party platforms.
Third-party services may automatically receive limited, anonymous technical information (such as IP address, device type, or basic usage data) when embedded content loads.
This data is generally used by those providers to deliver and maintain the embedded content and is not used by VST to identify or track individual users or students.
VST is not responsible for the privacy practices, analytics methods, or data handling policies of third-party platforms.
Users are encouraged to review the privacy policies and terms of use of any third-party services whose content appears on the website.
7. Privacy and Data Practices
Virtual Science Teachers collects limited, privacy-focused technical information necessary to operate, secure, and improve the website.
We use self-hosted, first-party analytics tools to measure overall page usage and activity loads in aggregate. These tools:
Do not use third-party advertising networks
Do not track users across other websites
Do not collect personal or student-identifying information
Are used solely to understand general site usage and improve educational resources
VST does not require user accounts, collect student profiles, or knowingly collect personal information from children.

Donations to Virtual Science Teachers are processed securely through Zeffy, a third-party fundraising platform.
VST does not store or process payment card information.
By donating, you agree to Zeffy’s terms and privacy policy.
VST is not responsible for the data practices of third-party payment processors.

The VST website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted access.
