How to Use This Collection
The Science Data Analysis Progression includes ready-to-use, graph-based activities that begin with a gradual graph reveal and progress through increasingly complex data analysis tasks.
Click a graph title to expand the accordion and preview the graph. Each accordion section includes four activities: a gradual graph reveal, followed by three Depth of Knowledge (DoK) levels—DoK 1, DoK 2, and DoK 3 (CER).
Select any activity to open it in a new tab. From the student-facing page, you can copy the page URL or use the Embed button in the bottom-left corner to add the activity directly to your LMS.
What is DoK?
Depth of Knowledge (DoK) describes the level of thinking required for a task, ranging from basic graph reading (DoK 1), to identifying patterns and relationships (DoK 2), to written scientific reasoning using evidence from data (DoK 3).
