All original content on the VST website is protected by copyright unless otherwise noted.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Written instructional materials

  • Lesson structures and learning activities

  • Worksheets and printable resources

  • Interactive tools and simulations

  • Platform design and architecture

  • Assessment systems and feedback mechanisms

  • Graphics created by VST


Permitted Educational Use

Teachers, schools, and educational organizations may:

  • Use VST resources in classroom instruction

  • Share materials directly with enrolled students

  • Display or project materials during lessons

  • Link to VST resources from school or district platforms

Use must remain for educational purposes and may not involve redistribution or resale.

 


Restrictions

Without prior written permission, users may not:

  • Sell or resell VST materials

  • Upload VST content to paid platforms or subscription services

  • Bundle VST materials into paid courses or products

  • Modify and redistribute VST content as original work

  • Extract or copy interactive tools, simulations, or proprietary systems

  • Rebrand VST materials

Technical Services

Optional services such as LMS integration (LTI), analytics tools, enterprise support, or other platform enhancements may be offered under separate service agreements. These services relate to platform infrastructure and do not grant redistribution rights to VST content.

 


Third-Party Content

Some VST resources incorporate third-party materials, such as PhET Interactive Simulations developed by the University of Colorado Boulder. These materials retain their original licenses and terms of use and are not covered by VST’s copyright.

Users are responsible for complying with applicable third-party licensing terms.

Embedded third-party media (including stock images, videos, or external tools) may not be downloaded, extracted, or redistributed independently of the VST platform.
