About this activity
This single HTML file runs entirely in the browser. It does not require a login, collect student names, or send answers to a server.
Students get one attempt in the main round. If they miss a question, it comes back later in Investigation Review with a targeted clue and a link to the related Investigation Briefing section. Questions and reference text use sixth-grade-friendly wording while keeping the full scientific meaning.
Content focus: asking questions, identifying variables, planning investigations, choosing tools and measurements, organizing data, recognizing patterns, and using data to improve a design.
Accessibility features include keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, screen-reader updates, non-color status cues, strong color contrast, reduced-motion support, a keyboard-accessible modal Investigation Briefing with expandable sections, and a clearly labeled sound control. Sounds play only after a student action and are never required to understand feedback.
