Electromagnet Simulation

We are beta testing this new Electromagnet Simulation.  Feedback using this Google Form is welcome and appreciated! 

 How do the number of batteries and coils affect the strength of an electromagnet?

Directions: Build and Test an Electromagnet 

  1. Use the dropdown menus to choose the number of batteries and number of coils.

  2. Click “Show Setup” to see your design.

  3. Click “Connect Wire” to complete the circuit.

  4. Observe how many paper clips are picked up.

  5. Record your results.

  6. Change the number of batteries and/or coils and test again.
