Bar Graph Maker (Multiple Data Sets)

Instructions

1. Enter the title and axis labels.

2. Add data sets (for comparisons). Each set gets its own color and label.

3. Add categories (one per row). Most graphs use the same categories for every set.

4. Type values for each set in the table.

5. Click “Graph Data.”

Key Vocabulary

Category: a name on the x-axis. Each category has bars for each data set.

Data Set: one group of numbers you want to compare to another group.

Grouped Bar Chart: bars are grouped by category so you can compare sets side-by-side.
