Multi-Line Graph Maker – Shared X Values

Instructions

1. Enter a graph title and axis labels.

2. Choose if X values are numbers or words/months.

3. Click “Add Another Line” to add a new Y column (a new line).

4. Click “Add Data Point” to add a new row of X + Y values.

5. Type X values once per row. Fill Y values for each line.

6. Click “Graph Data.”

Your work auto-saves if you close the tab.

Key Vocabulary

Independent Variable: what you change (X-axis).

Dependent Variable: what you measure (Y-axis).

Data Set / Line: one group of Y values that makes one line.

Data Point: one row with one X and Y values.
